waiting in an immovable line
I'm standing in the non-moving line,
the one that seemed like it was (at the time.)
I look at my watch, I'm gonna be late,
C'mon, hurry up, I sure hate to wait!
No, don't talk about your kid,
I don't give a rip what cute thing he did.
I don't care if your husband is seeing your friend,
I just want this eternal waiting to end!
Please quit talking, be on your way,
so I can finally reach the register and pay!
Oh my goodness...did I say that out loud?
There's an ugly look in this line slash crowd!
I can cut ahead? How nice you are....
oh dear...my wallet's in the car!
