Vague, abstract, but not so much it loses meaning.
Azure sky replaced by a sequential summer darkness,
heat without repercussion found between flesh and dirt.
Sand permeates comfort but the moment ignores,
a rush of blood to the head and instincts cringe.

The musk of dust and grass replaced by,
an eloquent lullaby to soothe unrequited angst.
With brazen song and hypnotized listener,
without caution and unneeded renewal,
equating only to paths traversed through cerebral continents.

On them we find ourselves trapped,
within a vase of breakable borders.
Following trembling footsteps,
echoing through a veil of chemical emotion.
Reflected within the hourglass of the sands of time.

But as the journey continues; and within becomes without,
without I cannot bear,
so with you I will sit.
Through metaphysical; serene,
and darkness entwined with hate.
Know that nothing conquers all,
except what we create.
