A night spent with a candle
Candle flame
Please do not flicker and die,
Do not leave me now,
Alone in a black void,
Do not let my room
Become dark as a tomb,

Burn bright
Let your golden flame
Keep my demons at bay
Guide me through this night
With your radiant rays

And I promise you
With my gentle breath
in the morning light
I’ll give you rest
