This Is A Poem I Wrote About The Person I Love.
Leave me with my memories.
They're the only things that keep me company,
now that You've walked out the door.
The tears have dried, the scars have healed.
So, why do I still want You here?
You hurt me but I'm still asking for more.

You're wading in the water,
and, I'm drowning in the waves.
To me, You're the one I lived for,
but to You, I'm a big mistake.

You never gave me a shot to love You.
I'm just the black storm clouds above You.
You never gave me a shot
so, I'll give it to myself.

The words You said, the notes You wrote.
The innocent heart You never knew You broke.
You stabbed me in the back when I took the lead.
The pain in my heart, the gun to my head.
I left you my heart on top of my bed
wrapped in everything that's left me.

I know it's mean, but, I wish You were lost again.
Just so You still needed me.
