Gilded wounds shimmer,
In a sun's cold glow,
Children's eyes shine,
In a mother's cold grasp,
Emptied from a departed lover,
Scars and cuts, bleed
On a white satin wall,
Where tears have stained
Once dull shades,
Children's visions mourn,
Behind beaten lids,
Violet from a dead dad's embrace,
Caskets fall,
Into artic Infernos,
Silent,
Truth spoken,
Through a lost hearts last prayer
