I open my eyes looking to see where I am. My vison is blurred. I try to open my mouth to speak yet my lips refuse to part. My body feels detached and it seems to be weightless as it moves as a shadow. My legs seem numb as do my feet. My hands reach for a door; an invisible door that is hidden. It seems as though I am outside of my body but I do not understand how.
A voice thunders from somewhere-"Wake up"!
My mind tries to follow the voice but my eyes remain blurred. Someone shakes me. Am I dreaming or is this reality? I honestly do not know.
