sometimes it seems oneself is a big mystery and even a mirror does not show ones true self
A distance too far to travel.
How might I make it shorter?
What must I sacrifice,
to accomplish the goal?
Who is this image,
i see in the mirror?
He smiles as though he knows me,
but I swear, I know no one but myself.
I am much too cunning,
to fall for this trick.
If it were me I was looking at,
then I would have said hi.
I turn away,
and feel an empty feeling.
I turn back,
now I see myself.
The darkness surrounds me.
The coldness engulfing.
The same sadness,
that seeks me out.
I say nevermind,
and turn away once more.
I stop again
and turn back,
This time I take a look,
a long look,
and smile,
and say,
hi.
