This is a short poem about an angel thrown out of heaven.
Heaven’s parasite, an angel scorned,
Walking the earth, doomed to mourn.
Searching for a meaning, searching for a purpose,
All the world seems only surface.

Stalking the streets and the dark places,
Looking for the right eyes, the right faces.
Soon the need will come once more,
The need to destroy, a deadly amour.

Forced to live, forced into birth,
Perpetually searching for heaven on Earth,
Killing in the search for God in man,
A steadily deteriorating wingspan.
