life as a handicapped person relating to people and just who is handicapped

Handicapped (for those who are, but can't and those who can't but are)

                    I can't run and/or I can't see.
                    I can't do this, I sure can't do that.
I can't take a drink, unless you help me.

Sometimes, what I can't do, is all you see.
Then to you, sometimes myself too,
What I can't do, becomes me.

Look at my broken body and/or my crippled mind.
Love for me, you can't  find? God loves me as I am
Is your heart lame and/or blind?

I will be your friend if you allow.
Love for me, with help from God, you can find.
or will you keep me distant, like a long lost pen-pal?
