Not a great poem. Written when I was 8, 9 or 10. Won a competition.
Will the oceans be turquoise?
Will the sky be blue?
Will there be lots of animals
To enjoy too?

Will tigers be extinct?
Will cows still call 'Moo'?
Will elephants be running free,
Will they be dead or in a zoo?

Will there only be factories,
Or countryside aswell?
If you want your children to see beautiful land,
Ask people to go around and tell;

"If you still want Monkeys,
And Darling baby ducks,
Ask yourself one question,
'What do YOU want left when THEY grow up'"
