About people not wanting to get involved when witnessing a violent crime.
Didn't See Nothing

It's a mystery to me
how people do NOT see
violence, by deranged
homicidal maniacs,
right in front of them.

Yet they claim
blindness to crimes,
be they petty
or end in death.

Their stories,
always the same.
"Didn't see nothing".

A fire? Kerosene?
No, not me.
"Didn't see nothing".

Sorry she's dead,
that little girl.
But me, nope.
"Didn't see nothing".

No justice for
innocent victims,
it's not fair!

No Sir, officer.
"Didn't see nothing".
