Trying to capture horses when among themselves, and what they mean to me...

Cinquiano on Horses

Horses,
talking through face, ears and motion.
Oft it flares to shouting,
all emotion.
Moving!

The Cinquiano is a variation on the Cinquain. It is a single stanza poem of five lines, totalling 22 syllables. The syllable count is 2 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 syllables per line. (The Cinquain has a 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 2 syllable count.)
I had originally written this as a Cinquain. Now, for the 'A Poem A Day Contest' I have made it into a Cinquiano and changed a weak line. It's much more to my liking now. The Cinquiano fits actually better with this little poem than the Cinquain.
