It's a poem for all the people with a love that can't be expressed because of fear.
A Dubious Flight of The Imagination

Extend your hand
and reach for a key long buried.
Open the door to a world of eerie darkness.
The embers of your hearth,
let it plunge into my sea of shameful restraints,
and for a tiny moment
let it burn my shackles to cinders.

Your embers,
let it freefall into oblivion
-my surreptitious realm of desires.
Spread your flames tenderly,
as the tendrils lash out to caress my soul.
Engulf my little haven hungrily,
scream with satisfaction and no guilt.
Because I will be lifted into a world of bliss
in your warmth’s embrace,
until society smothers your flames.

Society –after witnessing this event
might frown with disdain.
But I want you to know a little secret:
I cannot wait until my world
begins to crumble again.
