How I write my poems, or, how do they get written.
MY POEMS

Amongst the few things that are to me dear,
My pen is one I cannot do without.
I need to jot down every now and then,
A thought or word or phrase I think about.

I need to do so as I walk or drive,
Or when I am at the dining table.
It’s only from these jottings, later on,
To construct a poem I am able.

Let me tell what is the secret of my
Poems having a range of topics such.
I do not ever plan them in advance.
They sprout themselves I do not plan them much.

The theme, the tune, the feelings and the words,
All of them come to me without effort.
I cannot do anything about them.
Not heeding them would cause me discomfort.

I think the essence of poetry is
That it must flow free smoothly on its own.
A poem which has no rhyme or rhythm,
I would gladly, without regret, disown.
