the world wants to control a man, where does help come from
                                                CONTROL
I never met a man the world didn't try to control
His heart, mind, body, his soul.
First it'll change your mind.
Then it'll change your soul.
Transformation complete, you're under control.

Your  one of them-deep in
A lost soul- steeped in your own sin.
My heart aches for you my friend.

I know where your at. I too wore a party hat,
had a grand time, never worried about payin', not a dime,  life was fine
Didn't know I was fallin'
til' Beelzebub came a'  callin'

I cried "Jesus where are you
If your there you gotta pull me through."
Well Jesus showed and the Devil flew

What Jesus did for me he'll do for you.
Sin's chains fell away
Dirty stains in my soul cleansed that day.
The filthy grime of this world put away

I pray you let Jesus rescue you too
maybe once again you'll call me friend,
Then may those lost days and lost ways between us become book-ends.  Amen.
