one day i was remembering what it was like to play tag
He was coming at me

I was sprinting over hedges
But he would not stop his pursuit

I went around a corner
But would not rest my stride
I was scared as he came closer

He was faster and he knew it
I could see the sweat trickle across his smile
He was coming closer

I hopped a fence into the other yard
However he saw the shortcut

He had me cornered
He reached out his hand
And slapped me on my back
Then he smiled mockingly and said “your it”
