When your lost and can't find comfort look in your heart and find the answers
When I sit at night in the dark I hear a cry
But don’t know where it’s coming from.
I run around trying to find the sound
But it get quite when people come around.
And I forget all about the cry until the next night
When no one else is around to fill the gap.
I open my mind and ask are you alright
With one response I knew she was doing just fine.
So I sat babbled wondering where the cry is coming from.
So I say to my soul are you doing alright
With the same response I got from my mind my soul said fine.
Still can’t figure out where the cry was coming from
So I said to my body are you feeling alright
She says to me a little beat but am doing just right.
The cry got louder and louder because she wanted to be heard.
So I stop because the cry got even louder and I felt the hurt
Coming from my heart, and I sat and I listen
To what she had to say and all she wanted was a little attention.
