Battling Severe Depression.
What is this demon
calling to me
from the dark recesses of my mind?

It holds me in ransom.
Its voice burns a seed of distortion.
I am caught in a holy war of good and evil.

The lobes of my brain are strapped by invisible chains.
There on the cerebral altar
lies a dagger of cerebral robustness;

It is mine if I wish.
At the moment, I have yet to grasp the blade
to slay this demon calling to me from the dark recesses of my mind.
