TWO STRONG HANDS

How can I ever thank him enough for lifting me up
with two strong hands, pulling me to my feet,
giving me the courage to look at love again?
Until him, life to me was bittersweet -

Two strong arms around me, giving me hope
that life was not meant to be lived alone.
Leading me onto pathways I feared to walk,
feeling his passion, he brought me home.

He taught me that I should never accept defeat,
that love was there for me if I let go of the pain.
Reliving yesterdays only trapped me in despair;
he always brought me sunshine instead of rain.
.

Until him, life to me was bittersweet -
I needed the courage to look at love again -
his two strong hands, pullling me to my feet.
How can I ever thank him for lifting me up?
