filling with rancor and spite
half empty/half full - who cares

self-indulged, self-exposed, self-absorbed
egocentric

many will stay this course

canvas 2 - Present

This journey
migrates through rugged terrain
carefully selected by --- choice
methodically connected by --- courage

sifting through cesspools of damage
gagging on misfortune and shame
gasping for breath
asking stupid questions - why?

hoisting upward, positive -- even optimistic
there must be purpose
casting away pity and ruin
adorning strength, valor and endurance

self-discovery

few will proceed

canvas 3 - Future

This journey
attained by will and desire
magically selected by --- enlightenment
mysteriously connected to --- God

contented to live out dreams
woven through silken hope
free to pursue
anything

comfortable to gaze upon weary
shadows of the past
re-energized with a sense of
accomplishment, truth, and love

none will abandon
