This is a "monologue" about the lover that left and the love that still lingers.
I love her only, I love her still;
In time?—from cold wind winters, to simmering summer on
Round till when the sweet smell of daffodils Springtime yields
I love her only, I love her still.
When love runs its course, its tidal force submersing whole, my will;
Now when her love for me has gone and she has left, only for me to be alone
I love her only, I love her still;
In time, from the simmering summers to cold wind winters on.
