Preparing for exit from this world.
INTO THE VOID



To delay my departure,
All means I have employed.
Yet I will step out one day
Into eternal void.

Shall I lament my going
And worry about it?
Forgetting that I will die,
Should I prettily sit?

Towards any of these paths,
I don’t think I should wave.
I have wasted my past but
My present I should save.

I should atone for my sins
Before the last day comes
And the tune of departure,
The angel of death drums.
