I can't wait
I can't wait for you to get here
I can't wait for you to see
How beautiful my town is
And what it means to me

There are blossoms blooming all about
The trees are tall and strong
The squirrels collect their acorns
And the birds are full of song

Across the field of fescue grass
Where a herd of horses graze
A tiny stream does wind its path
Like a million mile maze

And should you stay just long enough
To watch the sun go down
You'll be amazed that all the night
Will the crickets voice resound

And all these things and more are here
If only you'll come down
How I'd love for you to visit
And see all of my small town
