Entry for 120 Pieces of a Nightmare
He stalked them silently, choosing only the most beautiful.  Ignoring their pleas, he imprisoned and asphyxiated them with cyanide.  Each delicate body was impaled on a cruel spike and displayed like a trophy in his museum of death.  He took countless innocent lives and showed no remorse.

The victims’ families came for him in a flurry of wings and tiny marching feet.  Honeybees attacked first, avenging their slain sisters with stings of fire. Mosquitoes sucked his blood until he was drained.  Ravenous maggots and carrion beetles feasted on his flesh.  Finally, dermestid beetles devoured his skin and hair. When they were finished, only polished bones remained.  All six-legged citizens rejoiced knowing there was one less entomologist in the world.
