This is a quick poem i wrote one day in mid-March sitting on the beach
Two baby seagulls
Circle the rocky shore,
Scavenging for the trash
That has not yet arrived.
The ocean sprays my face
As I stand alone
On the chilled sand.
Clear blue skies
And a glaring sun
Give false signs
Of hope to
The lone surfer,
Sitting like a
Duck on his board,
But even the waves know
It’s too soon.
