Being A Star.
You’re notorious.
On billboards and shows,
On pages in magazines,
…Posters on teen walls.
You’re infiltrating.
Everyone wants to be you,
To dress and talk like you,
Walk and think like you.
But you’re misconceived.
At a time you were me,
My best friend, my worst enemy.
We all have to start somewhere.
Now you’re an icon.
You’re inhuman and immortal.
You have no flaws.
All of your wrongs are made right.
And you’re trapped,
Represented by fiction,
Caged by stardom,
Because there is no
Escaping heroism.
