2nd place in the Amazing 55 Word Story Contest!
Hot, gooey fudge dripped temptingly down the sides of the sundae dish, glistening in the reflected light.  Elizabeth’s mouth watered at the sight of rich, golden vanilla ice cream, visible through the clear glass.  A cherry perched at the top, contrasting with the thick whipped cream.

She sighed, and turned the page of her magazine.
