A poem about silence killing the sound.
Silence, it can be so deafening.
Always straining, mumbling, gurgling, dripping.
Through shadows of our minds.
We can't contain it.
It bursts through, killing all in its path.
Silence, deceiving, deadly, outrageous.
It drains all life, ruins hopes and dream.
No one to stand up for what is right.
Sound dying, being driven away.
Sound gone forever?
No speak up!
The time is now, end the silence, someone scream, there is hope.
There is a chance of a better life filled with sound.
Never quiet, always speaking our minds, never giving up.
Silence won't conquer all.
Sound will prevail!
