My Soul Mate
Living in silence, too afraid to speak

Too terrified to open up

Wallowing in self pitty

Living in the past.

Crawling through darkened hallways

No end nor light in sight.

You are my saviour,

my eternal light

The end to a darkened ghost like past

An empty abyss, no longer there

You understood, you cared,

you cried my tears

and you believed.

Your my one and only,

The soul mate I've searched for

the man who has captured my heart.

I love you now, as will I always

in this life, and the next.
