yet another poem of mine...
i am my own surgeon
hand me a scalpel
hand me a knife
i am my own surgeon
prep me for surgery
use no numbing
i am my own surgeon
watch me go to work
watch me make life changing snips
i am my own surgeon
im not afraid to go too far
for ill close the wounds myself
i am my own surgeon
burn off the pain
dissect the nerve
watch the red flow
heal the scars
i am my own surgeon
