Enjoy that autumn feeling all year long with this dandy little poem..........
                      “Halloween Delight”
                        by J.L.Freeman

Ghosts and goblins, the black cat stares
Witches on broomsticks fly through the air
Trick or Treat, the scare is near
Halloween night, it’s finally here!

Jack-o-lanterns aglow, miniature candies in hand
To greet the costumed children as the doorbell sounds
The harvest moon high above, casting its shadow down
Autumn leaves crunch under your feet, once they have fallen to the ground.

Skeletons on porches, sitting in chairs
Waiting to spook the brave children as they approach to go near.
Many of them run, too filled with fright
Halloween, what a glorious night!

Rusty cemetery gates creak in the breeze
As the dead prepare to rise with the greatest of ease
To walk through the night on the All Hallows Eve
Halloween night, what a wondrous scream!
