Forgetting and remembering painful memories
Deep within drugs dark embrace
I found you there
Your voice on my machine cracks
Tears caress my tender peach skin
Watering my soul in an icy cascade

Leave me alone
I scream out loud
Your abuse has left blood red cuts
Upon my torn heart

I loved you once
The soft touch of your lips
Your smell after passionate sex

Deep within drugs dark embrace
You left me alone
I search mountains for the answer
The answer to us
It never came
