A mirror mocks lifestyle choices
Oh my mirror, why you mock me? I’m appalled, beyond belief
Could all those delicious cookies, really give me this much grief?

Is this fat that you’re reflecting, really coming all from me?
Or are you bias and showing only that what you can see?

I only ate a little cake and some pudding once or twice
Could this miniscule enjoyment really have such a high price?

For a person, life is bare without some tenderized meat
And why we live at all, if not for appetizing sweets?

But still, you just insult me, you are a judgmental creep
Maybe you’d be less judgmental, if you had a bite to eat

Why you want me so deprived of all the things worthwhile in life?
Don’t you know life’s worth living, when all the meals are rife?

So I’m bringing you down and I’ll take you to the food hall
I’ll show you all the things you never had stuck in that wall

But now I look at your back, I see nothing, you’re unsubstantial
But from the front you seemed… you were so 3-dimensional!

Why is all the truth you show so flat, my dear fellow?
Oh my mirror, my friend, it seems you are simply shallow
