A father tries to reconcile to the son he has neglected.
Hello my son, it’s been a while.
Your life went on without a smile
I’m such a fool for hurting you.
Will you forgive?
I pray you do.

I turned away, you needed me.
I chose the path of misery.
I’ll do my best to set things right.
Can you forgive?
I’ve seen the light.

I pray you overlook my sin
Let’s give a try and start again.
I love you more than words can say.
If you’ll forgive
We’ll start today.

I’m sober now, my mind is clear.
The Lord above removed my fear
I give my word your life I’ll pave.
If you’ll forgive
My soul you’ll save.
