The only poem i still have left. I wrote this at a very painful place in my life.
The Abyss

She sat in silence
The room buzzed around her.
The laughing of her peers brought sadness to her heart.
         She almost cried

The taunting had pushed her to the brink abyss.
As she looked down into the depths of this bottomless pit,
she wished it would all go away.
But she knew it would not,
she had jumped before and the pain still continued.
         She almost screamed.

So alone in this crowd of people .
The others laughed around her.
         They ignored her.

The masses swarmed around her.
         She almost hit back.

The shoves, the taunts, the laughter, all directed at her for their amusement.
But there was no reaching her anymore.
         She jumped.

She fell and fell and fell.
She knew what would come after the falling.
The pain would all start again.
But for now she could cry and be in peace.
         Alone.
                   Truely alone.
                                       At Peace

She slept to be awakened by buzzing.
She now had to return to the precipice and try with all her strength to stay grounded.
To stop herself from being pushed.
Pushed to the point of jumping.
