I wrote this in retrospection of the anniversary of 9/11, patriotic citizen that I am.
Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
they fight to save us all.
Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
we watch their bodies fall.

Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
the casualties fly home.
Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
we bury each alone.

Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
our Leader laments the death.
Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
Americans hold their breath.

Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
Faith fades in our free country.
Under a banner of Stars and Stripes
We kill for Democracy.
