A poem about death.
The hand that held the withered spoon
Haltingly she told of half held memories
Unheard

She reminisced of days gone by
Recanting childhood memories
Forgotten by the rest

A pain shot up her arm
It pierced her heart
She gasped for breath
Until night came and gave her rest

Then the spoon became stiff
And fell to the ground
