What happens when you forget who you are.
Silent Screams


I feel it all boiling inside
My life in constant doubt
The silent screams I bear inside
Begging to get out

My choices have led me down this road
A person I barely know
The more I try to lighten my load
The more it seems to grow

Time is taking it's toll on me
And grows stronger every day
Time is running out on me
And I'm letting it slip away

I want to be the man I was
Or who it was I thought
Make right the wrongs I have caused
And all the pain I brought

I'll write it down on this here pad
My pen the only way
To voice the screams I bear inside
And hope they go away
