Killing the witch.
Searing the flesh of my bones,
The fire begins at my feet, and rises,
People smile as they watch me burn,
Friends, family and strangers.

Convicted with witchcraft,
Of the Devils practice,
Not untrue but very unjust,
For what have I done but worship?

Worship my God,
And live by the dark,
Isolated by my difference,
Now doomed by that very thing.

Smoke intrudes upon my lungs,
But I cough not, I laugh,
I swear my return,
And leave them, cursing them all.
