take from if what you will
it seems like a thousand years that i've been waiting for things to change
all to often it seems like things rot while trying too hard to stay the same
yes, your life moves on, you gain and lose experiences and challenges
though the stagnant poison of living like everyone else tears and ravages
in a hypocritical world of zombies waking up to same thing day in and day out
i chose to be the answer not the problem to my destiny of living with or without.....

you........

painlessly and mistakingly
follow the leader
sheep blindly walking towards the cliff
one falls down and the other one follows
to a doom on the rocky ground below called life

the success you think you encounter as you wave goodbye to your wife and kids
leaves a musty smell of dissatisfaction and is portrayed thru your closed eyelids
9 to 5 and all is well when the paycheck rolls in on friday and your off to the bank
standing in line with all the others waiting and failing to realize whats on the brink
you're not living, that smile confuses noone, you're dying along with the herd
you look at me as i walk by singing my tune that you don't understand just words to.......

you.....

ruthless yet lazily
you don't know what to say
you appear closer than ever in the line to the end
the one infront of you falls to the ground
to a doom, a doom that you call your so called life.........

please don't look back up as you'll see me with a grin on my face
for you're only another moron that never got to inherite the taste
so sweet a life i will live now, and it doesnt matter that you're long gone
i have lived my life for others, and i love many, but no longer, i live for noone
there is no god, only me, and that may be hard for you to understand
you look hard enough on your journey to the bottom, ponder one life that was not so grand.......

you.......
