A racing mind ponders

Jump in front of a moving bus.
Drink that glass of antifreeze.
Run the car in the garage;
Smell that sweet aroma of death.

Flesh-searing,
Heart-wrenching,
Joint-throbbing,
Bone creaking,
I can’t breathe… PAIN

Pull the razor across your veins.
Plunge yourself into the water.
Stroll off that skyscraping tower;
Fall free and stop suddenly.

Rapid pulse-beating,
Muscle-aching,
Head-pounding,
Blood-curdling,
Let me die… PAIN

Swallow the brightly-colored pills.
Wrap the cord around your neck.
Shove that knife into your chest;
Listen to your heart deflate.
