This was my first attempt. It came naturally as I awkwardly pecked at the keyboard.
Fingertips on a keyboard

The words creep in

Suddenly, I am free



And so the haiku flows

Mind to body

In uninterrupted thought



A moment is captured

Before it can pass

Life and death become it
