Hmmm... I was in a weird state of mind when I wrote this one, but we all have been there.

Longing for you,
I walk through life’s path,
Searching for another,
Never finding a match.

Longing for you,
I try to forget,
Forget that special feeling,
Wishing we had never met.

Longing for you,
Missing your touch,
I fight to stay focused,
I never sleep that much.

Longing for you,
I manage to move ahead,
Meeting one to take your place,
But knowing my heart is dead.

Longing for you,
Forgetting your touch,
Replacing those memories,
But, still loving you so much.
