A poem i wrote for a contest, a bit gothic for their taste but clever non the less.
My Right to Bleed

My eyes, there to see.
My mind, there to believe.
My feet, there to carry.
My right to bleed.

My face, there to deceive.
My hands, there to receive.
My pride, there to flurry.
My right to bleed.

Our laws, are there to protect.
Our past, is there to regret.
Our memory, is there to forget.
Our right to bleed.
