The preface to my book, Rose of Dragona. It's short, but it's all I can think of for now.
         I honestly never thought I would die this way: at the claws of a lunatic. Now don't get me wrong, my life has been in jeopardy before, but I've never had any company. By "company" I mean my entire race. But sacrificing your life to save the ones you love and complete strangers is worth it…right?


         The object to blame for all of this chaos? A diamond.
