A poem about a teen who spends his time watching people and questioning life.
Sitting here watching people go by
I think to myself, I wonder why
Why is that people fight to survive
When in the end they still die
But many fight for useless things
Cars, necklaces, and diamond rings
They always continue to act so tough
But in the end it's never enough

Sitting here watching people go by
I think to myself, I wonder why
Why do people hurt each other
Their mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers
When those people have done nothing wrong
But sing to the tune of a different song
They cry so hard but still feel the pain
Just like the earth feels as it continues to rain

Sitting here watching people go by
I think to myself, I wonder why
Why is it that people are filled with so much hate
Their other emotions they cannot wake
Others who want to live a different way
Those malicious people think it isn't right for them to stay
Their hate stings the others and they begin to cry
Alone they sob and yell good bye

Sitting here watching people go by
I think to myself, I wonder why
Why do I question a persons life
When my life as well lives by the reapers scythe
I question life because I must
I feel as if it just isn't enough
To live a life of ignorance
A life full of fake bliss
