Iwas sitting outside smoking like every other day
I was sitting outside as I do every other day smoking a ciggarete when I took what I thought was going to be a brief glance at the sky. When suddenly a I start to focuse on a bird that was flying towards the trees beyond me. The sounds in the background started to fade and the cold didnt seem so cold.I sat for a while and watched the bird until I could no longer see it flyng. For those few minutes I was so calm and relaxed that it was like I was in an alternate reality. Why I stared at that bird as long as I did I couldnt tell you but for some reason doing that placed a sence of calmness in my heart that I hadnt felt fo a long time. Sometimes doing things like that is what makes a person.
