A simple twist to a holiday classic.

~The saddest secrets of this trouble age
are the envious hatred of those who
suffer want, and the selfish forgetfulness
of those who live in affluence.~

Poor Erin Cratchet. She sat trembling at her high accounting
table. Scrooge insisted on dressing her in a tight misses Santa'
costume. Her fishnet stockings provided no warmth before the
four lumps of burning coals in the pot belly stove....

                                        Scrooge

"How many rafle tickets have you sold?"

                                          Cratchet

"It's chistmas eve....(a-chew!) And no one has
                      any money!"

                                          Scrooge

"Hmmm, stand up before the fire.... So, my old
                      eyes can see you."

Erin Cratchet wobbled over the creeking planks in her red stiletto
strapped heels. She began to belly dance, thrusting her hips up and
forward. Scrooge clapped and tapped one foot, while seated in his
bear skin chair.... Suddenly, there was a knock at the door as it
flung open. .. . Cherry skipped over to Erin and kissed her left cheek.
Cherry was the spitting image of her mother, Scrooges sister.

                                            Scrooge

"Well, are you going to dance? And why
are you walking the streets in that blue spandex?"

                                            Cherry

"It's a ski suite uncle! Erin are you turning blue?"

Cherry hugged Erin: rubbing the shivering clerks back. Scrooge
rose from his chair and lowered his giant pumkin head.... The door flung
open and Cherry's Inowat man servent stepped in... .

                                            Jasper

"Miss Brook, I've put a blanket over the horse.
The wind is getting very sharp. .. . Oh, hello
                      Miss Cratchet and Mr. Scrooge."

                                            Cherry

"Jasper warm Erin before she catches pneumonia.
Now, Uncle are you coming to my Christmas party?"

                                            Scrooge

"Of course. You have so many young lady friends."

Jasper openned his heavy yak skinned ankle length coat and
    covered Erin Cratchet.

                                              Cratchet

"Jasper! Your not wearing a stitch of clothing!
                        And your soooo smooth.... Hmmmmmm."

Erin wrapped her arms around Jasper warmth. .. . Scrooge put on
his top hat and coat... .

                                              Scrooge

                        "Bring the rafle tickets Erin!"

                                              Cratchet

                        "I hate you.. .."

And Scrooge was the gayest blade at his nieces party.. . .

~Here lies the fool who went out the world
without learning why he came into it.~
