A short poem about a drug addict
Crazy addict

You’re here with me again when you should not

I promised I would try I just forgot

In the mirror I can see myself yet it’s not me

I’ll never kick this habit I guess I’m a crazy addict

In my grey matter stored somewhere lay memories

Slowly fading fast god help me please

Wish I could mend my ways find a way out of this maze

But I’ll never kick this habit always be a crazy addict

These are troubled times filled with impurity

How I lack from faith and security

Dark succumb to light I’ve lost that will to fight

I’ll never kick this habit always be a crazy addict

For me it’s much too late I can’t escape my fate

No I’ll never kick this habit so I’ll die a crazy addict
