                                +No Prayer Goes Unanswered+

Alice kneeled at her bed in prayer. She was a slender girl with
golden hair, "God .. please let my breast grow." Her prayer was ernest.
"Is that all?" a voice answered. Alice spun her head about to see who
had spoken. She stood and open her bedroom door. There was no one.
"How simple a prayer can be... until it is answered." the voice continued.
Alice looked behind her clothing, hanging in her closet. There was no one.

Alice stood in the center of her room, "Who are you?"

"I?" the room begain to spin, "I am the Word first spoken." Alice fell to
her knees, "Please, do not be angry with me." She trembled, clutching
he hands... "Beauty merits nothing. It is an illusion." Alice cupped her
small breast, "I'm sorry... I thought they would grow."

"Stand before your mirror." the voice comanded; "Let loose your clothing."
Alice stood naked before her closet mirror. A slender girl stood reflected..
Then, she grew. In minutes a beautiful young woman stood in her reflection.
Alice hopped up on her toes to match the woman's height. Alice giggled.
Then, the woman's belly grew... A child appeared in her arms. Alice spun
about in excitement, "I will have a child!" She looked again the woman had
aged. There was an old woman in her reflection, stooped and gray.

"No! I.. can't be that old... Stop it." Alice covered her eyes.
"Man's will craves for unending sensual desire, which is unattainable in
this life. Unending happiness is of the Spirit not the flesh." the voice came
from Alice's mouth. "Am I cursed?" Alice kneeled before the mirror, her hands
resting open on her knees. "Choose to love and merit good." the voice came
from the mirror from her son, who stood now as a man.

Reflection: The eye of beauty is opened, when the flowers are freely
                  arranged.
